Articles of Faith

I. The Word of God

We believe the Holy Scriptures, consisting of the Old and New Testaments, to be the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. It is the supreme and final rule of faith and life, and the only perfect guide for our relationship with the Lord and our conduct within the community of saints.

II. The Holy Trinity

We believe in one God, eternally existing in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We hold firmly to the historic Trinitarian view of the Godhead, affirming that these three are co-equal and co-eternal, being the only true God as expressed in the Creed of Athanasius.

III. Satan

We believe in the real and personal existence of Satan, the originator of sin and the archenemy of God and the human race. He is the prince of this world who led the heavenly rebellion and continues to deceive mankind, yet he is defeatable through Christ and destined for eternal doom.

IV. Original Sin

We believe that man was created in the image of God but fell from his original state of innocence through voluntary transgression. As a consequence, all of humanity is born with a sinful nature, alienated from God, and unable to save themselves by any merit or work of their own.

V. The Final Judgment

We believe in the bodily resurrection of all the dead: the just unto the resurrection of eternal life in the presence of God, and the unjust unto the resurrection of final judgment and eternal separation from the Lord in the lake of fire.

VI. Salvation

We believe that salvation is a free gift of God's grace, received through repentance and faith in the Person and finished work of Jesus Christ. We are justified not by works, but by His precious blood shed at Calvary for the remission of our sins.

VII. Fruits Befitting Repentance

We believe that genuine salvation inevitably results in a life of holiness and obedience. Those who are truly born again will manifest the fruit of the Holy Spirit and a walk that is consistent with their confession of faith, departing from iniquity and seeking the glory of God.

VIII. Love for the Brethren

We believe that love for the brethren is the hallmark of true discipleship. As an ecumenical ministry, we advocate for the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace, recognizing the one true Church of Christ to be composed of all who have been truly redeemed by His blood.

IX. The Resurrection and Return of Christ

We believe in the physical resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead and His bodily ascension to the right hand of the Father. We expectantly look for His personal, visible, and glorious return to the earth to judge the living and the dead and to establish His eternal kingdom.

X. The Great Commission

We believe that the mission of the Church is to fulfill the Great Commission: going into all the world to make disciples, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and teaching them to observe all that the Lord has commanded us.
